Shades of subtlety reflect broader understanding in an enlightened view.
Chiness fortune cookie readings aside, I see enlightment as an adjective that can attach to any quality a human has - note that I don't think it can stand on it's own in describing one of us.
Lately, I've been notably fucked up. I've noted it, and surely others must have too. Accumulation of unenlightened decisions. This in an dof itself is not a bother to me, for I trust who I am in the longer run. How many people really do though?
Enlightened views or qualities are those in which the first, second, etc layers of understanding the issues involved are deemed to be insufficient understading nevertheless. Enlightened understanding is understanding coloured with the awareness that the issue is not understood sufficiently, and yet action must be taken reasonably during the process of gaining more of it.
Enlightened behaviours or thought has the property really then of simply responding unerringly (my goal is reflected here) to new information and feedback. These latter happenings might be discarded in favour of previous plans even by the enlightened understander. More often than not though they are discarded or reacted to harshly without enlightenment.
