Swearing Well

Someone noted once that I don't swear - old childhood habit, a belief I developed inorder to swear at my sister without personal risk.

I swear using anger embedded in the words I use, and not in the choice of words. I wonder how many people can tell when I swear. Isn't swearing about the intention to swear as much as about the use of conventional words. I've heard so often people who use the select words quite frequently without the conventional consequences. Slippery slopes.

Swearing I an emotion directed at another attached often to a mode of communication which assists the directing. Most frequently we think of specific words as the host for swearing. However... more subtle approaches are very possible, and lead to less difficulties. PC wins out.
