you said
Still, I find writing boring here. Perhaps it's because for hte first time ever I've been following anothter online diary. It demoralizes me to feel so normal and common.
From reading in Nexus I think that is the one you are talking about. So there are a few flaws in your ideas
First since so much of his is about your realtionship, the two of you, it must seem so mirror like to your eyes.
I read your journal everyday.
If I read no others I read yours.
I try to read about 10 or so, different authors, per week. The same ones.
It is amazing how similar they can get. Especially when Renee quotes
Mary who links to Al etc etc etc.
All sounds the same as we all feed off of each other.
Look over the personality test results and such.
THere is a commonality involved.
Not a commonplaceness though.
I become more and more each day and "Environmentalist" when it comes to personality. The Environment is much more important than the genetics. What you are predisposed to is not what you end up. It is the way you lived/live in the growing phase that is more important.
Example time: Myself.
I would compare myself (family etc) to those around me. Especially my friends.
Vast differences taking into account race, sex, ages, common interests, etc.
Most of them had not moved many times. Ohh a few 3 or 4 places perhaps in their life.
Not the 30 + houses and apartments that I had lived in up to the High
School years. Living with a family of extroverts when I was the sole
introvert, moving ( taking into my age of 34 now) more than once per
year, having just my sister and famliy as a constant besides boxes in my
life shaped me much more than the genetics I was born with. This I am
certain.
So there is much to be said for Carolyn Burke besides Woman, boss, owner, writer, journaler, Web person, etc that is and must be unique. Certainly there is a common thread in those of us who imitate you, I knew not of your existence before I joined OP Laurel Krahn was my inspiration to actual start journaling and she no longer does so, yet each are themselves. The "worlds" we all live in are different, each was raised in a separate fashion and all react as they shall.
So by your looking at yourself using one set of eyes that are a fragment of a mirror is to make it seem to close to home.
My take on your words and all.
Enjoy the interviews. Let me know if you want some help in filling
positions. More than happy to recruit for you if desired.
HUGS
Take care
